The present Special Conditions of Sale (hereinafter referred to as « Common Procurement Vocabulary«) apply specifically to the luggage storage service offered by BAGAGES DU MONDE under the Hello Passenger brand, via the website www.hellopassenger.com, at its agencies or via interactive terminals located in Paris Airports, or via any other channel previously authorized by BAGAGES DU MONDE.
The CPVs supplement the General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter referred to as « CGV«), of WORLD LUGGAGE, operating the brands Bagages Du Monde, Hello Passenger, Air Transport Animal, and My Move.
In case of contradiction between the General Terms and Conditions and these Specific Terms and Conditions, these Specific Terms and Conditions shall prevail over the General Terms and Conditions for the baggage storage service.
1- PARTIES TO THE CONTRACT
These General Terms and Conditions are concluded between:
BDM SA, a company with a capital of 106,120 euros, registered with the Pontoise RCS under number 439 194 788, whose registered office is located at 9 rue du Noyer, ZA du Moulin, 95700 Roissy-en-France, hereinafter referred to as « LUGGAGE OF THE WORLD« ,
And
Any natural or legal person making a reservation or purchase of the luggage storage service, hereinafter the «Client».
2 - PURPOSE OF THE SERVICE
The luggage storage service allows the Client to temporarily entrust their luggage to BAGAGES DU MONDE, for a period determined at the time of booking or purchase of the service.
Luggage is handled, inspected, stored, and returned under the conditions defined in these GTC.
BAGAGES DU MONDE offers luggage storage services bookable on the Hello Passenger website, at interactive kiosks, or from a BAGAGES DU MONDE representative through direct sales in agencies at Paris Airports.
3 – PLACE(S) OF SERVICE DELIVERY
The luggage storage service is offered at agencies operated by BAGAGES DU MONDE, located notably at:
- Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG)

The agencies are open 7 days a week, from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
Certain additional services may allow for drop-off or pick-up outside of these hours, subject to availability and prior confirmation by BAGAGES DU MONDE.
4- RRESERVATION AND PURCHASE OF SERVICE
The service may be booked or purchased by the Client:
- on the website hellopassenger.com ;
- via an interactive terminal ;
- directly from a BAGAGES DU MONDE representative at an agency; ;
- through any other sales channel authorized by BAGAGES DU MONDE.
The reservation is firm after validation of the mandatory information, acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy, and payment for the service.
The Customer guarantees the accuracy of the information provided during their booking, including their contact details, chosen times, meeting location where applicable, as well as the number, type, and characteristics of the luggage entrusted.
BAGAGES DU MONDE cannot be held responsible for consequences related to erroneous, incomplete, or late information provided by the Client.
5 – SERVICE OPERATION
5.1 Baggage Handling
When picking up luggage, the Customer must present:
- a valid photo identification; ;
- booking confirmation or any proof of order for service ;
- luggage covered by the service.
The Client remains solely responsible for the information provided during the booking, particularly regarding:
- the number of pieces of luggage ;
- their dimensions and weight; ;
- The chosen times; ;
- Potential meeting places for supplementary services.
BAGAGES DU MONDE reserves the right to refuse any luggage:
- not in accordance with the present CPV; ;
- presenting a safety, security, or operational risk; ;
- whose state, packaging, or closure would not allow for normal handling, storage, or recovery.
5.2 Control, Security, and Storage
Each piece of luggage entrusted to BAGAGES DU MONDE undergoes a security check by X-ray before acceptance.
In case of inability to read, doubt, or necessity related to applicable safety procedures, BAGAGES DU MONDE may:
- refuse the luggage ;
- place it in a suitable secure area; ;
- conduct a verification, including opening the luggage, in the presence of a witness and by authorized personnel.
Accepted luggage is stored in secure premises and is under video surveillance.
The Client is informed that:
- luggage must be properly closed, packed, and suitable for normal handling and storage operations; ;
- Certain additional services may require the installation of security seals. ;
- Fragile items must be properly protected by the Customer before baggage check-in.
BAGAGES DU MONDE cannot be held responsible for the consequences resulting from:
- from a failure to close; ;
- of insufficient packaging; ;
- of a defective piece of luggage; ;
- or inadequate protection for the entrusted content.
5.3 Luggage Returns
Baggage is returned to the Customer:
- at the agency during business hours; ;
- or under the conditions provided for under the Premium or Access complementary services.
Baggage claim is processed upon presentation of:
- proof of deposit, reservation, or any document allowing verification of the right to retrieve the baggage.
Any exceeding of the reserved storage time, even for a short duration, will result in the immediate billing of an additional storage period at the current rates.
BAGAGES DU MONDE may refuse to return luggage:
- in case of reasonable doubt as to the identity of the person presenting themselves; ;
- in the absence of sufficient justification; ;
- or in case of non-payment of amounts due for the service.
As part of the Premium service, the Client undertakes to be present at the agreed place and time. Any delay, absence, or late modification may result in:
- an additional invoice ;
- a delay in service execution by BAGAGES DU MONDE not subject to claim; ;
- or the impossibility of returning the luggage under the agreed conditions.
Any dispute relating to the apparent condition of luggage must be reported immediately upon its return and noted jointly with a representative of BAGAGES DU MONDE.
No claims for superficial damage to luggage will be accepted after it has been returned.
6 – LUGGAGE ACCEPTED
Unless otherwise agreed in advance, accepted baggage must comply with the following limits:
- maximum weight: 32 kg per piece of luggage; ;
- maximum dimension: 300 cm, corresponding to the sum of length + width + height, including handles, wheels and pockets.
Luggage must be properly closed, packed, identifiable, and suitable for normal handling and storage operations.
It is notably the Client's responsibility to ensure that the straps, handles, and, generally, the packaging/suitcase are capable of withstanding handling, particularly concerning accepted weight limits, and that they are suitable for holding numbered seals in the event of using the Premium additional service.
Regarding fragile items, and particularly bottles and breakable objects, it is the Client's responsibility to ensure they are sufficiently packed and protected.
BAGAGES DU MONDE may refuse to accept baggage that is damaged, opened, improperly packed, insufficiently protected, unidentifiable, or whose condition would not allow its integrity to be guaranteed.
7 – SAFETY AND SECURITY
By entrusting their luggage to BAGAGES DU MONDE, the Customer acknowledges and accepts without reservation that their luggage may be subjected to X-ray security screening, and regardless of the service requested, to comply with air regulations regarding safety and security.
In case of inability to read, doubt, or necessity related to applicable security procedures, BAGAGES DU MONDE may refuse the baggage, place it in a designated area, or conduct a verification process, including opening the baggage, in the presence of a witness and by authorized personnel.
The Client declares that:
- the luggage belongs to him or that he is authorized to entrust it to BAGAGES DU MONDE; ;
- he knows their content; ;
- no one handed him any object without his knowledge; ;
- The luggage contains no prohibited, dangerous, or forbidden items. ;
- Electronic devices in luggage must be turned off.
The Client is informed and accepts that their luggage may be sealed as part of the Premium additional service. In this case, the bags and suitcases presented must be able to withstand numbered seals.
In the absence of compliance with Article 6 of the General Terms and Conditions, BAGAGES DU MONDE may refuse to take charge if it is impossible to guarantee the integrity of the luggage after the usual inspection.
This impossibility of providing the service due to the Customer will not be refunded by BAGAGES DU MONDE.
8 – PROHIBITED ARTICLES
The following items may not be entrusted to the left-luggage facility:
- Identification documents, essential travel tickets, cash, payment methods, financial assets; ;
- jewelry, precious metals, precious stones, valuable watches, works of art, antiques, or valuable objects; ;
- Live or dead animals, plants, perishable goods, temperature-controlled products ;
- weapons, ammunition, explosives, fireworks, flammable, toxic, radioactive, corrosive, or dangerous substances; ;
- narcotics, psychotropics, or illicit goods; ;
- any item prohibited by French, European, or airport regulations.
In the event that a prohibited or dangerous item is discovered, the luggage may be refused, opened, impounded, handed over to the competent authorities, or destroyed in accordance with applicable procedures.
BAGAGES DU MONDE cannot be held responsible for consequences related to the presence of prohibited or dangerous items in checked baggage.
9 - VIDEO SURVEILLANCE
For reasons of safety and security, BAGAGES DU MONDE agencies are under video surveillance.
The images are stored and accessed in accordance with applicable regulations.
10 – COMPLEMENTARY SERVICES
10.1 Service Priority
The service Priority allows the Client to benefit from priority assistance at the branch.
This service is optional, complementary to the luggage storage service, and offered subject to availability.
The Client is informed that:
- The absence of a queue upon arrival will not entitle you to any refund, cancellation, or compensation for the Priority service previously subscribed to. ;
- Priority service does not guarantee a complete absence of waiting time. ;
- Depending on customer traffic, several Priority Clients may be served simultaneously or successively, at the sole discretion of BAGAGES DU MONDE, which the Client expressly acknowledges and accepts.
10.2 Premium Service
The service Premium Allows, subject to availability and prior confirmation by BAGAGES DU MONDE, baggage pickup or drop-off by a BAGAGES DU MONDE porter, or one of its subcontractors, in a public area of Paris-Charles de Gaulle or Paris-Orly airports.
The meeting place and time must be set at the time of booking and confirmed by BAGAGES DU MONDE before the service is carried out.
The Client agrees to be present at the agreed-upon location and time.
Any delay by the Client, no-show for the appointment, change of location, late modification, or impossibility of access may result in:
- an additional invoice ;
- a delay in execution ;
- or the impossibility of performing the service, without BAGAGES DU MONDE being held liable.
The Premium service is an additional service to the luggage storage service and can only be provided after prior confirmation from BAGAGES DU MONDE.
10.3 Service Access
The service Access allows, subject to availability and prior confirmation by BAGAGES DU MONDE, for luggage drop-off or pick-up outside of the agency's usual opening hours.
The available time slots are:
- Early Access 05:00 AM - 07:00 AM ;
- Late Access 9:00 PM - 11:00 PM ;
- Night Access 11:00 PM – 5:00 AM.
The Access service must be booked and expressly confirmed by BAGAGES DU MONDE before the service is provided.
The Client agrees to strictly adhere to the agreed-upon schedule. Any delay, absence, or last-minute change may result in additional charges or the inability to perform the service.
The Priority, Premium, and Access services are supplementary services. If the service cannot be performed due to a fault of BAGAGES DU MONDE, only the price of the supplementary service in question will be refunded.
11 – CANCELLATION OF RESERVATION
The Client may request the cancellation of their reservation by email at the following address:

The applicable cancellation conditions are as follows:
- until 7 days before the scheduled date of service: full refund minus €15 incl. VAT for administrative processing fees ;
- enter 7 days and 48 hours before the performance: reimbursement of 50 % of the total amount paid; ;
- less 48 hours Before the performance: no refunds.
The applicable reference time is the time at the place where the service is performed, which is Paris time.
Any cancellation request must be made in writing and will only be considered effective upon receipt by BAGAGES DU MONDE.
These cancellation conditions apply subject to the legal provisions concerning the right of withdrawal provided for in Article 12 of these General Terms and Conditions.
12 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code, the Customer, if they qualify as a consumer within the meaning of said code, generally benefits from a right of withdrawal of fourteen (14) days from the conclusion of the contract.
However, by signing the SPP and the T&Cs, the Client acknowledges and expressly accepts in advance that the luggage storage service constitutes a service requiring the reservation of human, operational, and logistical resources on a specific date or for a determined period.
Accordingly, when making a booking, the Customer may be required to expressly request the performance of the service before the expiry of the aforementioned legal withdrawal period.
In this case, the Client expressly acknowledges:
- that he requests the immediate performance of the service before the expiry of the legal withdrawal period; ;
- that he loses his right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.
When the performance of the service began before the end of the withdrawal period and the Customer nonetheless exercises their right of withdrawal before full performance of the service, BAGAGES DU MONDE may charge the Customer the amount corresponding to the services already performed and the costs incurred up to the communication of their decision to withdraw.
The right of withdrawal may no longer be exercised when the service has been fully performed.
13 – PRICE AND PAYMENT
The applicable prices are those in effect at the time of booking or purchase of the service.
Prices are shown in euros, including all taxes.
Payment is due at the time of booking or purchase of the service.
In case of payment refusal, non-payment, or denied bank authorization, the reservation may be canceled.
Any additional services not included in the initial booking may be subject to an additional charge, after informing and obtaining the Client's acceptance.
Any exceeding of the initially reserved storage duration will automatically incur additional charges according to the baggage storage rates in effect at the time of baggage return.
14 – EXTENDED STAY AND UNCLAIMED LUGGAGE
The duration of the service is that chosen by the Client at the time of booking.
Any extended care period beyond the initially reserved time is fully due and will be invoiced separately according to the rates in effect at the time of return.
In case of non-collection of luggage upon expiration of the scheduled period, BAGAGES DU MONDE will attempt to contact the Customer using the contact details provided at the time of booking.
The Client remains liable for all additional costs related to the extension of storage, safekeeping, handling, potential shipping, or processing of the baggage.
At the end of the waiting period provided for in Article 5 of the General Terms and Conditions, and in the absence of a response from the Customer despite contact attempts, the luggage may be considered abandoned and may be destroyed or sold by BAGAGES DU MONDE at its discretion, under the conditions set forth in the General Terms and Conditions.
15 – LIABILITY
BAGAGES DU MONDE implements the necessary measures to ensure the safekeeping of entrusted luggage under normal security conditions.
However, BAGAGES DU MONDE shall not be held liable for damage resulting, in particular, from:
- due to a defect in the packaging, closure, or condition of the baggage; ;
- of the fragility of the luggage or its contents; ;
- from the presence of prohibited, fragile, valuable, or undeclared items; ;
- from an inaccurate or incomplete declaration by the Client; ;
- due to a delay, absence, or change in the Client's instructions; ;
- of a force majeure event; ;
- by an intervention of the competent authorities.
Unless BAGAGES DU MONDE is proven to be at fault, and unless insurance or a declaration of value has been previously accepted, any compensation is limited to 20 € per kilogram of gross weight for damaged or missing luggage, without being able to exceed 500 € per checked bag.
No compensation will be granted for consequential damages, such as loss of opportunity, loss of flight, loss of stay, moral prejudice, loss of operation, or incidental costs.
16 – SUPPLEMENTAL INSURANCE
No specific insurance is automatically subscribed to by BAGAGES DU MONDE on behalf of the Client.
The Client may nevertheless request supplementary insurance or a declaration of value before the start of the service, subject to prior acceptance by BAGAGES DU MONDE and payment of the applicable supplement.
The request must be made at least 24 hours before the start of service to:

The Customer shall specify the nature and value of the goods and provide all necessary supporting documents, in particular the corresponding itemized invoices.
17 – PERSONAL DATA
BAGAGES DU MONDE processes the Client's personal data for the purposes of managing reservations, providing services, billing, customer support, security, and compliance with its legal obligations.
The Customer has the rights of access, rectification, opposition, erasure, and limitation provided by the applicable regulations.

18 – MEDIATION
In accordance with the Consumer Code, the Consumer Client may, free of charge, refer the matter to a consumer mediator after having attempted to resolve the dispute directly with BAGAGES DU MONDE by lodging a written complaint.

19 – GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These General Purchasing Conditions are subject to French law.
In case of dispute, the parties shall endeavor to seek an amicable solution.
In the absence of such agreement, the competent court shall be determined in accordance with the applicable rules of general law.
